A MOM'S JOURNEY

Moonstruck 2012

This Saturday passed we attended the Moonstruck Clifton 4th Beach concert. The weather was perfect and the atmosphere was sensational. It was the perfect setting for a family day.

The concert was presented by 567 Cape Talk with BP Express. Entries were free and we even received free water on arrival thanks to BP Express. The live band, Virtual Jazz Reality (VJR), performed all your favourite Solid Gold classics and when they did the “I’ll always love you” tribute to the late Whitney Houston, we were all on our feet singing along.

The glow sticks sold by National Sea Rescue Institute (NSRI) to raise funds for a new Rescue boat at Bakoven,  just added to the ambience when the sun went down.

This was my first time at the Moonstruck concert and look forward to next year’s concert. I will not miss it for the world! Well done BP Express and 567 Cape Talk! You’ve outdone yourselves.
